Consumer Code for New Homes - Campaigns 2019

Consumer Code for New Homes

The Consumer Code for New Homes are an official organisation, who offer a quality assurance benchmark for new home builders. They had a tight budget and needed a campaign which would communicate the benefits of CCNH accreditation to both customers (new home owners) and developers.

The basic message was ‘peace of mind’ - and it was communicated to both audiences using the same imagery with different messages.

The concept takes something very familiar to any new home owner, boxes. On moving day, you will have dozens of them, labelled and ready to be unpacked at the other end in your brand new home.

This concept uses this familiar visual as a canvas to show the positive benefits of choosing a Consumer Code for New Homes protected house. The specific points are flexible, and can be changed to talk to different audiences. They also feature intangible, emotive messages such as ‘Reassurance’ and ‘Peace of Mind’.

The message ‘Everything you need for your new home’ empowers the new home owner and introduces the brand.

This was a multi-disciplinary exercise:

For the second phase of this campaign, we took the moving scenario a step further, and gave the Consumer Code for New Homes a physical presence.

This shows families and couples busily unpacking and populating their new homes. In amongst the packing boxes and other moving in goods is a big purple box, which looks exactly like the Consumer Code for New Homes icon.

This shows the viewer that an essential part of any new house should be The Consumer Code for New Homes. Its like a welcome package from your brand to them personally. Every new home should have one.

The concept used a combination of stock imagery of happy new home owners on moving day, and a 3D CAD model of a purple Consumer Code for New Homes house, based on their brand icon.

The 3D house was comped into the stock image compositions, positioned and angled with perspective to look realistically like it’s in the composition. Light and shadow effects complete the post-production process.
