Creative Director - Andy Smith

Mr Smith Creative is led by award-winning Creative Director Andy Smith. He works directly with all of our clients and manages all projects.

With 19 years of industry experience, Andy learned his trade working for the top creative directors in the best design and advertising studios in Scotland. Here he developed a mix of skills across design, advertising, marketing and brand identity.

He has a wide range of brand experience, from banks to beers, charities to cheeses and everything in between. He has won awards for design, marketing and advertising in Scottish, UK and international competitions. He has taught on the Graphic Design program at Edinburgh Napier University.

Andy has a BTEC Diploma in Graphic Design from Newcastle College, a BDes (Hons) in Design Futures from Edinburgh Napier University, and an MDes (with distinction) in Product and Furniture Design from Edinburgh College of Art.

When he’s not designing, Andy’s loves hanging out with his family, flying drones, and practising karate.
