The Ethical Shellfish Company came to Mr Smith Creative in 2020. They had a successful shellfish business which supplied high-end restaurants, but were hit hard by Covid-19 as a by-product of restaurants closing. They needed to adapt their business model to online selling, targeting direct to customers and wholesale, as well as retaining their restaurant customers to pick up when the lockdowns eased.

The business had a great story to tell, in that it is family run, and the products are extremely fresh. Co-owner Guy Grieve hand dives for the scallops, making them as ethical and fresh as possible.

I worked with web designer and developer Pete Urwin to design a new website, and edited a film to help them tell their brand story and bring the brand to new audiences.
